Community Benefit Fund

Vestas is committed to sharing the benefits of our renewable energy development with the communities we work alongside. In line with the Clean Energy Council’s (CEC) Guide to Benefit Sharing, we strive to ensure that the rewards of our proposed wind farm contribute equitably to the vitality and future success of the region in which the wind farm will operate.

As part of this commitment, Vestas will establish a Community Benefit Fund for the Cleve Wind Farm Project. We are currently in the planning phase and have begun engaging with the community to gather input and feedback.

2026 Sponsorship and Grants program is closed

The Cleve Wind Farm is proud to have supplied over $50,000 in funds to our local community so far!

Applications for the annual Cleve Wind Farm Sponsorship and Grants Program are now closed. We will continue to partner with local organisations and community groups within the Cleve District Council area that support community wellbeing and create positive impact.

We are committed to supporting a diverse range of local initiatives or groups to ensure everyone in the community has the chance to be supported. With limited funds in the development phase, we focus funds on the likely impact areas of the wind farm, that being Cleve and its surroundings.
