Community Benefit Fund

Vestas is committed to sharing the benefits of our renewable energy development with the communities we work alongside. In line with the Clean Energy Council’s (CEC) Guide to Benefit Sharing, we strive to ensure that the rewards of our proposed wind farm contribute equitably to the vitality and future success of the region in which the wind farm will operate.

As part of this commitment, Vestas will establish a Community Benefit Fund for the Cleve Wind Farm Project. We are currently in the planning phase and have begun engaging with the community to gather input and feedback.

What to Expect for Community Engagement in 2026

2026 is shaping up to be an exciting year for Cleve Wind Farm engagement. Our key engagement priorities for the year include:

Reopening our grants and sponsorships program in February
Continuing early conversations and moving into formal engagement on the Community Benefit Fund, which will be guided by your voices

The team will be out and about continuing to support local events, hosting pop ups and attending the Cleve Show. Alongside this, we’ll be working closely with local groups and educational institutions to find ways to continue to give back to the region in meaningful ways.
